01 Revelation's Message for Us
Summary
Revelation is essentially messages coming from Jesus Christ to His followers to bring hope meaning and purpose to life. In many respects Revelation is an expansion of a sermon Jesus once gave from the Mount of Olives where He explained what life would be like in this world till He returns to put an end to the present age.
Seeing this link is an important part of understanding why this book has always had relevance to Christians over the centuries, especially as we get closer towards the end of this world and the return of Jesus. If we are careful to note and uphold certain safeguard principles when studying this book we will find it does bring fresh hope, meaning and purpose into our everyday lives.
